Text Messaging Terms

Effective September 3, 2026

Program

Ovation Law Firm Recruiting Texts is a text-messaging program run by Ovation Law Firm to communicate with job applicants about their applications. Messages are sent by SMS and, if you chose it, WhatsApp. These are the terms of that program.

How you join

  • By checking the SMS or WhatsApp consent box on our job application form. Consent is optional and is not a condition of applying.
  • By texting us first. If you send a text message to our recruiting number, we treat that as consent to reply on that channel.

What you will receive

Conversational and transactional messages about your application: interview scheduling links and confirmations, application status updates, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing messages through this program. Message frequency varies depending on where you are in the hiring process.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier or, for WhatsApp, governed by your data plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts on that channel. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also work. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. To opt back in, reply START.

Opting out of text messages does not affect your application. We will continue to contact you by email.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message or email careers@ovationlawfirm.com.

WhatsApp messages

WhatsApp messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform and are also subject to the WhatsApp terms of service. Replying STOP to a WhatsApp message stops WhatsApp messages from us, and you can block our number in WhatsApp at any time.

Privacy

How we handle your information, including your mobile number, is described in our Applicant Privacy Notice. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.
